Capacity Analysis

The relationship between a non-profit and a funder, whether large or small, is built on relationship and reporting. The non-profit provides a service (e.g. it cares for an orphan or it treats a patient) on behalf of a funder who provides the cost of the service. From the point of view of the funder, there are two basic things that the relationship and reporting accomplish:

• Will the NPO do what they say they will do?
  and
• Can they in fact do it?

For Ingwavuma Orphan Care, the former is covered by the two pages Reports and Statistics. Our aim is full transparency and accountablity.
For the latter, we wanted to introduce you to our people and try to measure our organisational capacity, whilst analyzing, frankly, what development needs we may have.
