New Post available for Deputy Director

With the expansion of our organisation, we are have created a new post for Deputy Director.

The incumbent will be accountable to the Director. The incumbent will be responsible for PEPFAR grant management and overseeing operational departments of the organisation
Key performance areas:
• Liaise closely with stakeholders including AED (our grant managers) and subgrantees (2 NGOs) to ensure that grant conditions are being met
• Oversee the programme departments; “palliative care”, “primary health care” and support of “orphans and vulnerable children” to support the departmental managers in their work.
• Develop budgets and workplans for the above departments in conjunction with the director and departmental heads
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of departments against workplans and report to the Director and Management Board with recommendations for quality improvement.

Requirements:
• 5 years experience in a senior management role preferably partly in the NGO sector
• Experience of USAID or PEPFAR funding management
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Zulu language an advantage
• Relocation to Ingwavuma (a remote rural village)
