Membership
You can become part of the solution against the AIDS epidemic through becoming a member of Isibani Sethemba:
Individual Membership
Benefits:- Access to the members’ only part of the website with up to date board minutes and review papers for the board.
- Copy of the annual report and any other general reports that are produced.
- Right to nominate potential board members.
- Voting rights at the AGM. You can vote in person or by email, fax or post for the governing board members who you wish to see lead the organization.
- For every member who joins we are able to:
- Buy a food parcel for a family for a month
- Buy and plant 2 fruit trees at a homestead
- Buy a pair of school shoes for an orphan
- Test 5 people for HIV
- Provide 4 terminally ill patients with basic symptom relief for a month
Corporate membership
Benefits- Improved social responsibility practices for your organization
- Boost your BEE rating; we have Level 1 BEE status and are a value added supplier giving 135% BEE recognition.
- You will be listed on our sponsor’s page; you can send us your company logo and a hyperlink for inclusion on the site.
- You can use a “Proud sponsor member of Isibani Sethemba” logo on your website, which we will send to your webmaster.

- When you join, we will send you a welcome pack including a personalized membership certificate, a copy of the latest annual report & a Section 18A Tax Deduction certificate
Beneficiary membership & staff membership
Benefits- Copy of the annual report and any other general reports that are produced.
- Right to raise issues of service delivery for the board to discuss
- Right to nominate potential board members.
- Right to vote on changes to the constitution.
- Voting rights at the AGM. You can vote for the governing board members who you wish to see lead the organization.
Membership fee
Free- maximum of 20 beneficiary members or up to 50% of all members, whichever is smaller.
Free- maximum of 15 staff members or up to 20% of all members, whichever is smaller, elected by the staff annually.
